Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. She is most famous for her character Skyler White on The AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in A Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She also appeared in Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell attracted to acting during preparation for her first job before moving her family to Ohio. The theatre school she attended was Northwestern University and spent a semester studying at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked at the theatre of the Chicago city for a few years before trying her hand at TV as well as films. In 1992 Anna was offered her first big character as Arden in the 29th episode in the series Down the Shore. After being a guest Actor in a variety of TV Shows and Films, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue in the 90's and was later cast as Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood over two complete seasons. In 2008, she was cast as Skyler for the show Breaking Bad. In addition, she was a part of the Deadwood movie and Sully. Gunn has also appeared on stages in David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. In addition, she was a part of Numbered Day, a podcast comprising four audio plays. The romance between Walter White and his wife Skyler is usually the main focus of the plot that is told in Breaking Bad with the strained pull on their relationship as well as its eventual collapse reflecting the exact arc of Walter White's end of life.
