Alison Doody
Alison Doody was born in Dublin on the 26th of June, 1966. She is from an affluent family. The third child in the family. In a convent she developed an obsession with arts. Later, she studied at Dublin's National College of Fine Arts of Dublin and then left the college because she had a lack of motivation. She thought she'd have a rest for a few days to get her bearings. While sitting with her friends in a coffee shop where a photographer walked in, she was inquired if she would like to model. As she was convinced she could earn some extra cash from the business, she decided to accept. Modelling was both fun and lucrative, and quickly she was modeling professionally. She was able to travel around the globe for her commercial work after signing modeling agreements. When she saw her acting talent it was suggested to take up modeling. The director sent her to London at the age of 19 where she quickly won an audition for the latest James Bond film, A View to a Kill (1985). The passion for acting led her to pursue it as a profession. In the wake of her first feature, she shot a few TV shows in London and in Dublin, but her big break came when she got cast as Aryan seductress Dr. Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989).
