Molly was raised and born in Pennsylvania. Molly began her professional stage career when she was thirteen and was a part of the Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Following that, Molly portrayed Little Red Ridinghood for the Arden Theater s Into the Woods and received a nomination for the Barrymore Award. The actress reprised this role when she made her Broadway debut at 15 in Into the Woods on Broadway in 2002. In the same year, she was nominated for a Drama League Award. Molly was also part of the Broadway revival Fiddler on the Roof, in 2004. After graduating at Princeton University, where she received a B.A. in Religion and became a Triangle Club member, Molly went on to attend Princeton University. in Religion. Also, she appeared in Disney's College Road Trip, playing Wendy Greenhut. Molly has performed several Off-Broadway shows, including End Days, at Ensemble Studio Theater. She also appeared in television shows such as Royal Pains or an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly is a part of several regional productions including the The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee with the Barrington Stage Company and North Shore Music Theatre in 2008. She also appeared in Westport Country Playhouse s 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank in which she played Anne. Molly's most notable role is on the set of Paranormal Activity 2 (2010), in which she portrays Ali her teenage daughter. She also starred in Last Man Standing (an ABC comedy written and directed by Tim Allen) and Jack Burditt's 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in 2008.
