Anita Briem, an Icelandic actor, is a household name. The most popular character she has played is Hannah her character played in Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008) as well as her portrayal of Jane Seymour in the TV series The Tudors. Briem was first introduced to the world of acting as an actor at National Theater Iceland at 9 years old. When she was in her home country Iceland she was a part of various plays, radio programs and television shows when she was a child actress. Briem was then 16 years old when she relocated to London and was a part of the production of Lenin In Love for the New End Theater. Briem 19 years old, she was admitted into at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. There she studied during three academic years.
